Features:

- You can detect frontal human faces and face landmark (68 points, 17points, 6points) in Texture2D, WebCamTexture and Image byte array.
In addition, You can detect a different objects by changing trained data file.

- ObjectDetector is made using the now classic Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) feature combined with a linear classifier, an image pyramid, and sliding window detection scheme.
You can train your own detector in addition to human faces detector.

- ShapePredictor is created by using dlib's implementation of the paper(One Millisecond Face Alignment with an Ensemble of Regression Trees by Vahid Kazemi and Josephine Sullivan, CVPR 2014).

Sweet dlib implementation for Unity3D by Anon_1638Vote
This library is a nice implementation of the c++ dlib for Unity. For beginners, dlib is a great opensource face detection and tracking library for C++ (and Python), which can not only detect faces but also return landmark points (68) which are great to a whole lot of applications.
It works together with the OpenCV asset and it can be coupled with the FaceMask Example to get a headstart with face tracking and face masking, you just need a webcam to go!
The library works out of the box and it does what advertised: bringing dlib to Unity both for beginners and experts.
It is obviously not as fast as the native version but it is a good compromise when you want to bring dlib right inside Unity3D.

The syntax is pretty similar and therefore it`s not so hard to get started, as you can use the C++ documentation and fit it.

The package is updated fairly often and the package is supported on Windows, Mac and Linux, together with mobile and WebGL (You get lots of demos and sources for them). So it`s pretty nice for most uses.

The price is quite steep for an opensource project which is fully free to use in C++ and Python. Sadly, that`s what you get with Unity wrappers.

Review Summary:

+ Standard syntax (C# flavoured)
+ Easy to use, both for beginners and experts
+ Only asset of this kind for Unity
- Performance is worse than the native library
- Kind of high price for a opensource and free library

In conclusion: try this out as it`s your only choice for Unity.
