IMPORTANT

DoozyUI version 3 is not compatible with version 2.
They may seem similar, but the code base is quite different.
Basically version 3 is an entirely new software that was inspired by version 2.
Thus, they cannot be compatible.

 

REQUIREMENTS

DOTween is required to be installed and its initial setup performed before installing DoozyUI.

DOTween minimum required version v1.2.235

GETTING STARTED

After importing DoozyUI, it will perform its initial setup and you'll be ready to start using it.

DoozyUI's Control Panel can be opened from Tools > Doozy > Control Panel (or by using the Alt+D shortcut)

DoozyUI's Nody Window can be opened from Tools > Doozy > Nody

Doozy is a Powerful Asset that goes Far Beyond Simple UI Management by Anon_2305Vote
In one of my earlier reviews I mentioned Odin as the #1 asset I include in all my projects. This is asset is for sure the #2 must asset I have that I always include. When I first came across Doozy I really thought it was going to be like a fancy NGUI or just UGUI with some templates. Instead, Doozy really shines by providing you a clear workflow pipeline for building UI`s with complex views and multi-screen panels. One of the most frustrating things with Unity`s built in interface tools is how it breaks down when you want to show multiple paged views and navigating between them. With out of the box Unity you have to wire up some sort of state manager that tracks which view you are in and then manually hide and show panels. Even simple menu systems for settings, controls, and an about you view is a pain to put together with out of the box Unity.

Doozy steps in with a powerful graph editor that let`s you determine how to display & hide views through the various aspects of the system. Even better, Doozy has a strong emphasis on presentation, animation and integrated sound effects. It isn`t just really that it is UI is that it ties together systems that make an entire user experience easier to put together. For example you can slide in your main menu with a variety of different effects, play some sounds, and then have a delay before another panel displays encouraging you to take action. All without any code at all.

If there is any downside it is that the learning curve is pretty high and that it is a rather intimidating amount of asset to put into your project. If you are looking for lean and clean systems this one isn`t it. But if you want massive amount of features and lots of extras then it is hard to beat Doozy. Highly Recommended!
